When I started organizing my thoughts to write this post I realized how easier it is for us to find ways to have fun when we are younger. Anything turns into a toy and you can play hide-and-seek at almost every place. When we get older, our parties with our friends almost always revolve around food and drinks, which is not bad at all, but I believe there are many ways to make them even more fun.
In this post I’m sharing some ideas that you can put into practice in your next gatherings with your friends. After all, the idea is to have fun and create unforgettable moments! 🙂
Games
Games are a classic option to keep your guests entertained and happy, especially the most competitive ones. It’s possible to have a mix of game types, such as cards, board and others where the only thing you will need is your friends.
When planning what games you will suggest, make sure to check the number of guests to make it possible for everyone to play.

Sing and Play
In Brazil there is this famous saying: “he who sings scares away his woes”. So, I believe this is a good opportunity to improve your music skills with your friends.
Improvise a band
Everyone has a friend who dreamed about being a famous singer. So, if you are struggling to find your favorite songs listed in the Karaoke menu, it’s time to bring all your friends together and form a band. Do not forget to have someone recording your performance, from my experience this always results in a lot of laughs the day after.
Cooking
Last but not least, instead of having all the foods and drinks ready before the gathering, you could invite your friends to share and teach how to cook their favorites or regional plates. You will be surprised when you discover a lot of yummy things you have never heard about before.
I hope the ideas from this post make your time with your family and friends even more fun. Let me know what other kinds of party activities you love to have by leaving a comment before you go.
